I have contacted Dell support, and they told me that was a glitch. Overnight it went from 100% -> 79% battery capacity. I have a Latitude 5501 that is 6 months old experiencing the same issue. I am stuck with a desktop in the guise of a laptop as someone mentioned before. Some random YouTube video would fix your issue but not the "Experts" here. As a matter of fact there is no ideal solution for most of the issues here. The battery drain issue seems to be very common in these forums and instead of offering straight fixes and acceptance of mistakes, its just Goose chase.ģ.
